Today we meditate on a part of Jesus' great High Priestly Prayer
(John 17), which takes place during the Last Supper in St. John's Gospel. In these seven verses, Jesus says the word "one" three times. It reflects His eager desire that we will be one with Him and the Father.
Through Jesus, we are reconciled with God and adopted into God's family; we become one with God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Because we are one with Christ, we can boldly state that "I am in the Father and the Father is in me."
Allow this word to speak to youre heart about Jesus' desire to bring you into communion with His Father. May we live and rest in this sacred truth.
